Capturing wild animals is an exciting challenge. This is especially true if you don't have a far reaching lens. When I capture images of wild animals it's because I gained their trust in some way or managed a level of invisibility. Either way I'm rather proud of the shots I get.
Living in New Mexico means encountering many desert animals. I've seen my share of snakes, scorpions and lizards. Hummingbirds are a favorite. You never know where these desert animals will dwell. I've found delightful surprises in some of the ruins.
Here are some of my favorite and best shots.
