While I continued to exhibit my art, photography, jewelry and crochet at the Belen ART League Gallery I continued toward the film industry with the Duke City Shootout event.
I entered three abstract digital photographs that I took at Traditions, a specialty shopping plaza off of I-25, south of Santa Fe. The judge for this event was Natasha Isenhour from Socorro. She gave me a ribbon with the comment: "Interesting focus. I love the many reflective surfaces, and that the photographer can't be seen in any of them."
We had a good turn out for our premier, but again our crew was scattered all over the auditorium. A couple crews had weather problems this year, but all produced good films.
For a look behind the scenes of Mr Fletcher's Yard Sale see my Duke City Shootout page.
For this event I entered three architectural digital photographs taken at Punta de Agua, New Mexico. Judge Maggie Price awarded me a ribbon, but didn't leave us comments.
